Any plans for ride this Sunday (Aug 25)! I know Adithya created a small WA group for Sunday Rides coordination, not sure if that was being used or not. Please let me know if you guys have anything planned tomorrow and if its relaxed day ride, can do some off-road bit but may not be able to keep up with fast mobikes, going far, when I'm riding my xpulse (may not be a motorcycle, rather I prefer riding slow around 80s).

night_eagle, anurag344 and I did a quick dash to Goa over the weekend covering 1250 kms in total. It was a last-minute decision owing to weather condition and glad that we did.

We left on Friday at 4:30am and back at Devanahalli (took dabaspete-STRR-airport exit) by 9pm on Sunday.

A perfect monsoon ride which we were longing for.

Went to Hogenakkal falls recently, 7 of us, in order of cc -

• Duke 390
• Himalayan 411
• Himalayan 450
• V Strom 650 XT
• V Strom 800 DE
• GSA 850
• Tiger 1200 GT Pro

I must say, some of the best SH and B roads I've come across. Mostly smooth. The 5 of us were from the same apartment/location. We took the Hoskote - Mallur road to reach Shoolagiri, from where the 411 and 450 joined us.

We then had awesome mouthwatering ghee podi idly & dosa at Murugan Idly. Somehow, not one among the other 6 was impressed. I have decided to be in katti mode with them for a stipulated period of time.







Unfortunately, the 800 DE had a puncher (puncture). Tube-type spoked wheels. Suzuki just why Ok, maybe that was the only way they could price it the way it is today, I don't know, but this is definitely an irritating point with the 800 DE today.



Chilling at Hogenakkal. The boys had some fish curry/fry and we returned without maalish (massage).





Caught some muck filled roads on the way back and all our motorcycles & gear was brown.
This motorcycle is fast becoming my favourite thing on earth


I was mentioning this on another thread - none of the chaps I ride with has any discipline with parking the bikes neatly. This was the best photo I was able to take that had the maximum number of motorcycles in one frame together We can't all be big friendly giants like KarthikK.


Some 350kms total for most of us. First time heading to Hogenakkal for me. I enjoyed it!

P.S.: We were all connected through Discord and our intercoms. Not a bad experience at all. The pre-requisite is of course good network (which is more or less available everywhere now except home).
