The route and location are extremely scenic. No trekking needed and there is paid parking for your cars and bikes. I reached Sunday morning 9:30 am and it was completely empty. Its extremely quiet and windy and one can just sit here for hours. Nothing to eat or drink around here so best to get your own stuff and not litter.

So me along with some people from reddit went to checkout Kootagal Thimmappana Betta on 31st.

As the ADV 250 was on tour to Pondicherry with my brother it was Hornet's turn for the breakfast ride to Gudibande.

It was really foggy after Devanahalli:



As the still in construction Adiyogi statue in the way we decided to pay it a visit. Google maps decided to show us some trail that led to a small pond leading to a nice pic.



A quick detour later we reached the statue. The road is still under construction and I hope that it gets fixed before the inauguration.



After having a quick look at the statue it was time to head towards Gudibande with the customary snap at the lake.



The fort is short hike ( 45mins approx) and here is the view from the top of the hill.

So this Sunday's Ride was to Kote Betta.

As it is an off-beat place we were the only people that were there.

So both Sunday and Saturday were ride days this weekend.

Saturday's plan was to go to KRS backwater. I had to return after having breakfast at Dhruvthare Restaurant.

Here is the lineup from the Saturday ride.




Sunday's Ride was to explore a couple of places.

The first one is the Devarabetta Temple.





Next location Sri Shankareshwara Swamy Temple. Although it was not present in the original plan but was added as it was close enough and had a nice 3km trail to reach it.

And finally the Benki Falls. Here Google maps gave us a googly but we were able to finally find it inside the reserve forest area with the help of some locals. It is 15 minutes walk inside the forest and you will have to park your bikes near the forest area boundary.
