hey the exhaust that he has is common sight on all rx's...its a proton also called the booster and many other common names..well it does make a bit of a difference...the manifold remaining stock the pipe is changed till the tail end...its a ready made after market upgrade...very very common...must say the bike is very well mainted...i had a close look...you still dont even have a power box...and as fellow tbhpian's said head porting..piston polishing...would help a lot...since its a 5 speed already you cant upgrade the gear system...well the k&n filter would also make a noticable difference...use a good spark plug and ignition wire...tried and tested...that's all that comes to my mind with this bike...anyways nice ride...!!..cheers...!!

He does have a powerbox..that thick pipe you see leading upwards from the manifold with the steel sheath around it leads to the powerbox...it came as stock on all the 135s...Head porting and piston polishing will never give any significant gains on a 2-stroke. Because you can't 'port' a 2-stroke head: the ports are in the cylinder block.

If you are really touching 140 kph then it would be tough to improve on that. Thats already very good. I am guessing your bike is already ported. How many revs are you pulling in top gear at that speed?

The Proton is a generic pipe (otherwise known as expansion chamber) that's mass-produced. Whereas you would need one that's specifically suited to the porting in your bike. You need to go to a pipe specialist for this. After all the work is done you need to go for larger carbs: typically 28mm (RD350) will work very well on the RX.

thx for int

i also have ordered aluminium piston and connecting rod as well as bearings from malaysia will be here in some time
its the racing stuff they use there in the rxz 6speeds hope it rocks
caz those bikes there touch a 160+ with these as the aluminum parts dont heat up fast and if they do heat cool off fast
also i just got a monster cables which doesnt let the current leak when it travels from the coil to the spark plugs

They dont need to, their terminal speed of 150 kph is good for an ET well into the 13s...

140kmph eh...???
Wow, it should sure feel like a rush....

On second note, ever felt wut a true 140 feels like...???

Anyways, it totally beats me as to how u can touch 140 without any port reshaping or with those ultra crap dubbas that u call chambers.
Also, I couldn't see any CDI change posted by you.
If u are running the stock CDI, then it makes your 140 claim even more dubious.

Looks like proton guys market their products very well.
They know how they can fool the regular public.

I dunno y yamaha discontinued it. It was the best looking performance bike in their stable. they should have given it a better rear tyre and it had the potentiel to earn some good sales for yamaha. Half the people dont even know that such a yamaha existed.
