Paint Job - Bullet 350 Standard

I would like to repaint my Bullet and also do some chrome work. Not sure on what would be a good place do so. I know a lot of people tell the authorized service center is the best place to do it. But I wanted to find out if there any guy other there who specialize in paint and chrome work.

Also what kind of cost would I be looking at for a good job.?

Hey sherin. the only chromed parts on a bullet standard are the handlebars, rims and the steel label on the tank. Are you talking about buffing the engine parts?

Get an estimate from the service station and compare it with the local guys. You'd also require the pinstriping on the tank. It'd seem incomplete without it.

@sherine, it would depend on how your bike looks now and how you want to make it look.
Chrome, again depending upon how much you have to.

A good idea would be to post the pics and may be a model pic of how you want it to look, so that people can put up what estimates they think.

A local mechanic gave me a quote for 9k but said it will take about 2 weeks to complete the job

I felt that the quote you have got is a pretty decent one. When I enquired, panting + Chroming + Buffing + Tinkering + Labour Charges would be 12K - 15K. It will take around 2 weeks for the whole work to be completed.

I would also like to get my newly acquired bullet painted. How much does only buffing the engine components and front fork cost. Should i go in for DuPont paint or any other specific. Please advice. My colour would be black or combination of silver and black.
