What would be the price of 2001 July, Silver Hero Honda Passion (100 CC variant) run 40000 Kms and both tires are new.

Vehicle is in immaculate condition and being driven only by me in all 40000 Kms. Guys I want to sell it off for Activa.

12-15K would be a fair price for a 8 year old 100cc Hero Honda. If it is in pristine condition, maybe 18K. These are my personal views.

Should I get it checked through a local mechanic or take it to Bajaj's authorized service center?

I guess 22-24k would be the best and final price.

Get it checked with the mechanic once for engine condition,see the number of kms done ,it should ideally be around 40,000 kms but anything more than this is better to avoid,i think 2004 is DTSI model, based on engine condition u can buy it between 28k to 32k INR.Also chk the condition of tyres and battery too.

My friends collegue has bought a 2003 Yamaha Rx 135cc 4 speed probably 3 rd owner for Rs 22000/- INR , the bike engine condition is good but tank is fully rusted needs a front tyre,handle,tank,side sheilds,seats and all the chrome change(nearly another 12-15k INR expenses)..Hes bought this from a second hand dealer in Bangalore .I feel after seeing the vehicle that the hes been cheated for the very fact that the vehicle is not worth that amount.
Fellow Bhpians beware before buying a second hand two wheeler.

I am planning to upgrade to a thunderbird twinspark. I would like to know the value of my 2008 (May) bought Pulsar 150 with 11 K on the odo. It has been maintained well and no accidents. Please let me know the right price as I am planning to put my bike for sale.

55K is a good quoting price.

In Bangalore its costing 30k INR i had recently enquired for a friend of mine ,but the bike was in OK condition , to bring that into a good condition the mechanic was quoting 10k INR more.
