Hi All,

what would be the ideal price of Honda activa, Black, DOP: 18-mar-2005 ,102cc, , single user, no accidents, not used for last one year, engine oil has been changed in last two months, battery has never been replaced, teflon coated and hence the colour is still bright. It has run only 7800 kms .
i have quoted Rs 22k based on the age of the bike.

@proxima: In fact, I asked the owner about the on-road price when he bought it and he said it was 98k. Anyways, the bike has been sold out to someone else for 77k.

22k seems a bit on the higher side for a 5 year old Activa but you can still justify based on the kms it has run. So 22k should be a fair asking price. Asking price in the market will be in the range of 22-25k from dealers and up to about 20k from individuals. But these vehicles would have done in excess of 30k kms in the 5 years.

Snap it up if it is in good condition! Check it for everything, spend time with it.

A CI bull done with its teething and not showing too many problems is worth the money.

But again I was a little too late in closing the deal. Its sold out for 83k.
A lot of good shiny machismos keep coming in between and I'm trying my best not to succumb to the temptation.

I just bought a 2007 black one for 41K in Bangalore, it was in a very good condition and had run 22K

One of my friends sold a fully blown 5 speed RXZ a few months back for 50k, the new owner met with an accident the very next day. The bike was Ernakulam regsitered (KL-7).

In an ok condition it should fetch you around 25-27k. You can start by asking for 30-32k and see how the offers pour in. Based on that you can arrive at the price.
