Re: Modified Indian bikes - Post your pics here and ONLY here

Any place in Bangalore when I can get my bike modified? [Wind 125]

All I want is the front changed from Drums to Disks. This would mean changing the complete front including handle bars. I would probably go for a solid looking set.
Also planning to change the exhaust with a growlier note.

Appreciate your help guys.
Thanks

wow! that is one awesome RE!

IMO: lose the stickers (front shocks and battery box) and the 350 painted on the rear swing arm - it will give the bike a clean look.

Sure will. Actually, in the process of doing that. Problem is those arent stickers on the swing-arm, its painted, so, getting that off is also going to take some weight off my wallet. Working on an exhaust pipe for the bike as of now.

Re: Modified Indian bikes - Post your pics here and ONLY here

My designs on the Pulsar 200, 180 Yamaha R15 as well as some helmets.

I have been associated with bikes since a very long time. After working for automobile magazines, this interest became a passion as I got to ride a variety of bikes. Even after leaving this profession, I am still attached to my present bike (Pulsar 200).

The problem with me is, neither can I sit idle nor do I let my bike sit idle. There is always something going on and I keep changing the look of my bike. The outcome is not always good but then, that's how it is. Even if I do not ride my bike extensively (terrified of parking it on Pune's streets), I keep on working on her in some way or the other. Then, there are always some friends who want to have their bikes' looks enhanced and I am only too pleased to help!

I have also been custom painting helmets for some time and in the past, I have designed helmets for Adil Darukhanawala (Editor - Zigwheels, Former editor - Bike / Car India, Overdrive, Car & Bike) as well as my friends. My wife, who is a qualified artist has hand painted one of my own helmet taking inspiration from Rossi's many helmets.

I have uploaded a few of my recent creations here -

Me. Boss, thank you. I have changed my bike's handlebar with that of a Bajaj Avenger is order to get a slightly upright riding stance. This helps in a comfortable ride as well as the bike handles better.

Amar,

I love you mods. The helmet done by your wife, made my day. On the other note, I am changing my Avenger handelbar to that Yamaha FZ for a more comfortable ride and relaxed shoulders. .

Also There is a PM for you.
