There are so many bullets here modded into choppers, cafe racers and other whacky stuff and none into new age scramblers?

I know the Scrambler kits are out in the States but a RE modded into a scrambler on the lines of Triumph will be a sight to see.

Elan, is that you on the bike. Looking mighty cool. and thats exactly what i meant and more. I'm sure you must have seen a few RE woodsmans around. Basically an electra but with loads of attitude. Would love to mod one here but the unavailability of the typical raised exhausts make me turn away from a build. I could probably get a exhaust like the one you have, but would have been inevitably confiscated by this cop.

Ironh4wk, a bullet could definitely do that. Guess it need to lose lots of weight though.

exactly. one think i know about RE is the weight! the classic RE weighs around 184kgs and executing stunts like the one in the picture would require helluva lot of weight reduction!

Elan, this video shows a similar bike. I see the guy just doesn't hold the clutch.
Is he doing all those things he does in second gear? Whats up with that?

You should check a video of some Panjabi boys doing wheelies on Bullet, it's real and can be done, but I only could believe it after seeing this video on Youtube.

Hey Ripper, what is the gear shift pattern? Is it 1 down & 4 up, cos I want to change the gear shifting system to this pattern in mu UG2 P150 (which is currently like all 5 down with top neutral).

I want to do this as I am competing in the Dakshin Dare, so the current gear shifting setup is a big turn-off/nightmare, when the bike is shifted to neutral at corners.

@tantragna: The Pulsar 180's had the 1down 4 Up pattern from the beginning so the swap to the newer generation pulsar gear box was easy. I recently heard that the Pulsar 150 UG4 too have the same pattern as the 180, if that is correct you could opt for the one on that bike. The 180 gear ratios are different than the 150 and could cause some performance issues, so move ahead with caution. FYI the gears cost something in the region of 2k, labour extra.
