Here's my Ride.

2003 Pulsar 180 Classic.
Stuff Done.
1> Blue/ Black Paint job
2> Wolf eye headlamp and Fairing
3> P200 Handle Bar
4> Pulsar OE magwheels with 120 section duro Tyre at the rear and Mrf 90/90-17 up front.
5> Pulsar UG3 Swing arm and Gas Shocks
6> Maxxspeed spark plug cable along with NGK iridium plug.
7> Pulsar 200 carb coupled with UG3 Block/piston set with UG3 gearbox.

neat bike ripper, is there any difference in power or mileage with the 200 carb ?

The throttle feels a lot ligher, i now clock around 120kmph with ease and the vibes have reduced a bit, it really fun wringing the throttle every now and then. Yes im getting better FE, with the P180 Carb i used to get around 35-38kmpl but with the p200 i consistently get 40-41.

good job done, please inform us how much did you spend over the mods. if possible please give the costing in lists. did you replaced the driving chain also. i mean it require long chain

The Costs are as follows.

1> Rs. 2100/- for the paintjob
2> Rs. 930/- for the headlamp and Rs.545/- on the Fairing
3> Rs. 230/- for the handle bar
4> Rs. 4000/- for the mags and Rs 2500/- for the Duro and 1500/- for the MRF Zapper Fs.

5> Rs. 730/- for the swingarm, Rs. 700/- for the Chain and sproket kit, and Rs. 1150 for the nitrox shox, + Rs 40 for the brake rod.

6> Rs. 400/- for the cable and Rs. 950/- for the Plug.
7> Rs. 2100/- for the carb, Rs 1750 for the block and piston and around rs. 2000/- for the gearbox.

Yes i had to change the chain and sproket set along with the swingarm and also the chaincover which cost another 440/- bux.

here's my girlfriend (yep, my wife hates her )

she's a stock CBZ (Y2K model) except for:
- self-starter (from CBZ Star). had to change the crankcase for this. fitted this after i severely injured my right shin when kick starting the bike in rain (feet slipped and caused a gashing wound - could see the bone).
- Karizma alloys (front: 18x1.85; rear: 18x2.15) - always wanted alloys on my bike since i don't know when!
- Karizma front hydraulic shocks - this i had to change after i rammed the backside of a Ford Ikon - on my way from M.G road to Airport road this Ford guy suddenly braked hard to take a u-turn (before the divider was put in place). my two brakes lost to his four! broke his taillights though
- Karizma front mud-guard
- Karizma Premium Sports engine guard/scoop
- Karizma 276mm disc (over CBZ 240mm)
- higher capacity battery (12v 8Ah) for the starter
- completely changed the wiring/electricals to accommodate the new battery
- added ROOTS twin horns. she sounds like a Škoda Octavia!

all of the modifications (except the horns are Hero Honda genuine accessories and hence cost me a bomb!)

even now, after regular service, she looks mint condition. the only sticker i have on the bike (other than the manufacturer's) is my company's parking sticker. they won't allow me to park at the office otherwise!

Ironh4wk-Thats a well maintained cbz.Its hard to find a well maintained one nowadays .How much moolah did you spend for the mods.

If you can get rid of the stickering on the Visor and the chrome from the handle bar dead weights it will look even more swell. Good mods though! Congratulations!

thanks mate. as hard it is to find a well maintained CBZ, it is equally hard to find someone who admires it

all together i might have spent around 35-40k. don't remember exactly because these mods were done many years back. she's worth every penny

Guys, please suggest some excellent bike mechanics in Bangalore. I am interested in modifying my RX100 (only performance modifications). Though my old mechanic has done some cosmetic changes (including engine work), I am not happy with the bike's performance. I have spent some exorbitant amount of money without getting what I wanted. I need a professional who can tweak the engine/transmission so that the bike reaches above 120 kmph without compromising the ride quality (i meant the vibrations/ corner handling etc.).

I am not sure if this forum is the right place for this question. . if not, @mods: Please move this post to the correct thread, I could not find any better thread than this.

Hey Whitesquall,
You can try Torque Centre @ Vijayanagar.
The mechanic's name is Zak.
I had got my RX-100 built to drag spec with Zak. Does a neat job, but a bit expensive.
