FINALLY !!

I got Petronas 5000 2T Booze for my RX

Will pour it soon, but it smells good , not like regular oils which smells damn bad especially Castrol 2T .

What is correct ratio for Petrol & 2T ? I use 25ml for 1 Lt petrol!

^^^Great, you like the smell, hope your RX likes the taste.

How much did it cost, btw? Does it say exceeds JASO FC or just meets it? Or is it FD?

So you are using it only as a pre-mix? As I said before, generally 2% is what is mostly recommended for most 2 strokers. The 2.5% you are using should be more than adequate if not a bit in excess, considering its a fully synth oil. I'd say use 2% if your use is average and consider 2.5% if you drive hard and long.

Don't use more than 20 ml per liter.

Yes I know, but if its a new stock it could have better ratings. Your pic just shows API TC and JASO FC... ie. it just meets it. Even minerals now exceed both these ratings. I'd expect better from a fully synth!!

We'll only know if they've improved their ratings once Chirag tells us when his can is manufactured and if it has better ratings.

"the pain" from the forum just used the Petronas 5000 I gave him a few days back in his rxz and says its made the bike smoother than before.

Any feedback from Chirag? I'm going to change to it in a few days when my bike completes 1k.

sorry i was busy with ICE threads..

yes i just added Petronas with Fresh petrol ( Old has to removed cause of Junk castrol mixed)

I will check the bottle and tell the rating tomorrow . But its like 1 year old ,not many people use Synthetic 2T in north so dealer doesn't order..

I think to pick 4 bottles more so that there is no problem of stock in future

Also will buy Petros 5000 4t for my gear box !!

Highest detergent?

I was searching this thread for info on the detergent content of the oils. I am looking for a 2T oil with high (highest) detergent to clean and clear out deposits.

Please help guys.

Cheers and thanks in advance,
