Which was your first bike?

My first bike was a Zundapp Fury DX 175 with Brembo Disc Brakes on the front. Enfiled had got these bikes down. It was a bike too advanced for its time in India.

The Enfield mechanics did not know how to service the bike and spares were an issue, sold it and then bought a beautiful Yezdi RoadKing, repent for selling it.

Now saving up for a HD or a Triumph!

The first bike for us ( me and my elder brother ) was a Fury 175, though I wanted a Kawasaki Bajaj KB100.

We used the Fury for 2 years and then my brother left for the US. I did not waste any time and sold it and got myself a KB100 RTZ.

Later also got a used Bullet 350.

Sold all those and for some years without any bike. Then in 2002 bought a Pulsar 180, sold last year around August.

I do not have a bike now and do not plan to buy one in the near future.

The first bike (two-wheeler) that I ever rode was a Vijay Super (owned by my uncle).
The first bike that we (me and my elder brother) bought was a KB100 RTZ. Wanted the KB100 specifically for it's tacho

Then, I got a used Kinetic Honda when I was doing my second year PU.
When I was in Engg college, I finally got a HH CBZ with front disc and it's still with my cousin.
My uncle had a small used bike business long ago and I was lucky because of this. Could ride most of the models at that time and we have a large collection of tools, including the yoke shaped jack which came with the scooters.

My first bike was a Bullet 350. I bought it way back in the early 80s and it cost me Rs. 18k (seems like "only" now; but in those day it was a tidy sum) with front and rear leg-guards fitted. I enjoyed it for 6 years and then managed to buy a Kawasaki 4 cylinder 400CC bike which the owner had rotting away in his garage. Restoring it took 6 months but frankly, I never had "fun" on that bike, the way I had on my Bull. I was always scared of breaking something and parts were not available atall in India, those days. On my Bull, I could take cheap thrills like scraping the silencer on the road in a high-speed tight turn (and skid a couple of times); never on the Kawa.

After that I bought a used car for the family and a Kinetic Honda for myself.
I haven't owned a bike for 20 years now but hope to buy a Bonneville if launched at a reasonable price.

Hero Honda Glamour. It served me for 3 years, after which I got rid of it. Have used it to get to Kushal Nagar, MM Hills, Bandipur and it survived 3 years of Bangalore traffic.I do miss it though. Good fuel efficiency, sturdy and trouble free.

Mine was a Bajaj Pulsar 150 2004 model. It was the second launch with the spoked wheel and the headlight fairing. Its still running good with regular servicing and delivers a 40 per liter.

Before that I used to ride my dad's Kinetic Honda (in college) which he still owns and has done 78k KM :eek

It was the year 2005. My first Bike was a Honda Unicorn. I remember , I had to pester my dad to buy it for me. It is an amazing bike and has done wonders over the past 7 years. It is extremely stable and smooth to ride even after ~42000kms..

My first and only bike with my money is my Hero Honda Achiever. Bought it in 2006 and it is still going strong though spares are a little harder than normal because it is probably HH's biggest sales flop. Of the 100 or so Achiever's I have ever seen, 95 have been in the showroom. Scary.

The first bike i rode and learnt riding on was an IND-Suzuki of a friend way back in '98.My first bike was Bajaj Pulsar 150cc kickstart in July 2002 in Manipal.It served me well for 6 years from Manipal to Delhi to MHOW and back to Manipal and then sold it off there itself.It was a fantastic bike.Now am planning to go in for an Activa/Aviator.

Started off with a 1st Gen Bajaj Caliber. After using it for 3 years,moved on to a Caliber 115. It is a peppy bike which happily does 70-90kmph and delivers 50-55kmpl. Still in my family but in a bad shape,has clocked 65k+ kms.

Currently using a 2004 Pulsar 150 ES. It has clocked 40k kms and delivers about 55kmpl in city and 65kmpl in highway.

I ride a Jan 2008 Pulsar 150 gifted by my dad. It has done 35000 kms and running great. Presently I am awaiting delivery of my Classic 500 Desert Storm which is scheduled to be delivered by mid-May 2012.

My First bike was a scooter! Kinetic Honda DX100 (1995) First actual Bike was a 1980 STD 350 Bullet bought secondhand in 1998.

My First bike suzuki fiero which i got from cousin in seconds during my first year of college, its black colour with number 7786, later after a speed bug bit me

, did quite a lot of modification mechanically like raised the cc from 150 to 175cc, had memorable moments with that bike, infact many of my friends call by the name fiero.

My first bike was a 2001 HH Passion gifted by dad. Later in 2003 given that bike to brother and took Pulsar 150 with ES.
