The disc brake is optional. The scooter will be available in 2 stroke an 4 stroke variants in select cities. Chandigarh being one of them. The 4 stroke scooter with the disc brake is their flagship model. I guess the bookings have started and I remember seeing advertisements of the scoot in some national daily.
Regards.
The scooter will be avaiable in 38 Different colors. with the so called international accesories. the front crome carrier, rear carrier, crome RVM and things like that... will post some phone and other things in two days.
A bit of an info:
The NV is still on sale in Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Uttar Pradesh.
The NV LS (with disc brake) retails at Rs.53,732 for two stroke and Rs.58,604 for four stroke (prices ex-showroom Delhi). Quite exorbitant pricing I must say.
Regards.

I do not have much idea but as it is on sale at Dehli, I guess it should match the norms.
Regards.
WHile many may not agree, LML used to be built really well. It definitely beats the Japs in longetivity. A friend of mine has a 14 year old LML running in good shape and there are many more out there too.
I do hope LML is back in business. My dad bought a NV Spl in '97. Boy, it rocked !! Oodles of torque and pretty stable for a scooter. Used to whack my friends on road who drove Bajajs'.
Unfortunately we had to sell it few years back after an accident and dad declared himself old to drive it in Chennai traffic.
Cheers !

38 Colours is amazing. Please post the pictures.Im so eager to see them.
nothing to be happy about when they say international styling, they are too broke to customize for local market.
Long back i had a LML Star in Off white color with matching beige seats, mats and other plastics. It was a wonderful scooter. The only trouble i had was frequent clutch wire breakage. It had better looks, build and performance than the Bajaj Scooters. Will find some pics to post here.
@Desideep: Waiting for the pics and other details.

It looks very much similar to the standard NV. Just some additions of chrome parts like chrome mirrors, front and rear carriers, chrome badging and chromed grab handle at the rear. Plus clear lens indicators and front n rear lamps.
Regards.

Hey can you get some pics and more details. Especially of the 2 Stroke one? I am still confused how a 2 Stroke (if its the same engine as before) is being allowed to be sold considering the emission norms now. And if not what is this new engine that they have come out with - specs.
Thanks in advance.

Will only a cat reduce emissions to BS III levels? I doubt..
