I remember one of my friends dad owned one way back and it looked amazing, as there was no machine like that on the streets.
Just uploading another picture taken during the days I first acquired her. Attachment 1287367 |
Beautiful picture @Savyo
Captures the quintessential essence of the LML and Goa. They were both made for each other, I am forced to believe.
Thanks!
Hey Yogesh,
thank you for your kind words, appreciate it.
that is what exactly connects me to the picture. And yes I still have the scooter with me and am in the process of restoring her. Will update.

Hi People,
Thanks for all the info. I too am a fan of LML 150 (NV). However, I am looking out for a newly launched autogear (CVT) 150cc Model. They are still not released in South India. I did e-mail the company if I can source one of these beauties from Maharastra for which they replied in negative. Please advise if I can source it from near by Maharastra. No clue of their presence in Bangalore.
LML Gurus,
Please help me with the above

Dear sir,
I am a great fan of the LML scooter brand, and used to own the Express5 LML NV, until sometime back, which had a gem of an engine.
Now there were the news reports that the LML Automatic Euro Scooter has been launched for the Indian domestic market, I would like to know if you have any dealers appointed in Pune or nearby Pune.
Viz: http://www.drivespark.com/two-wheelers/lml-star-euro-150cc-automatic-scooter-launched-006447.html
Your website shows only that dealer is appointed only for Gujarat. Please suggest me how should I go about in buying, as I am Interested in buying the LML Automatic Euro Scooter.
An early reply is appreciated. Regards Yogesh Naik |

On the Website, the nearest Dealer for you staying in Karnataka, would be Goa at:
B N Thakur Auto Garage Thakur Garage, Near St. Inez Church, St. Inez, Panaji Goa - 403001 Phone : 8600090090/8600993869 Mobile : 09890033969
In Maharashtra, the Dealers are shown for Aurangabad, Nasik, Nagpur, Sangli and Wardha.
Hope this clarifies.

The LML range during its hey days:):

Hey Yogesh,
Thanks for the reply. I would love to source it from Goa or for that matter even from Sangli, however I am afraid of limited or 0 service support. I am sceptical on the local guys if they can manage to service since it is a new technology.
Sourcing spares might be another big challenge. Not sure if Vespa dealers might help us out.
LML is still alive and doing the production rounds in their factory are two scooter models, the LML NV 4S ( four stroke ) (launched 2008) and the LML Star Automatic Euro 150 (launched 2012) and a three wheeler launched in 2016.
During a visit to the local dealer at Nagpur (m/s Rajdhani Motors), I could sight two brand new unregistered LML Freedom bikes (old stock most probably), one NV 4S and a LML Star. The LML Star interested me as it appeared totally new and gearless. Wonder why these don't sell ? And if at all there is a buyer, he is in a minority. The next question would be spares availiability after some years in such cases. The spares are pretty reasonably priced as I could gather from the price list of a few spares. The speedo gear for the LML Star costs Rs 15/- and the digital speedo costs about Rs 2.6 K. Here is the link to a thread that I have put up for the LML Star.

The company website is very much alive and kicking:
LML 3-Wheeler Dealership - lml3wheelers.com
http://lml3wheelers.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_content=text ads&utm_campaign=LML_Brand_BMM&utm_adgroup={Lml_Sc ooter}
And surprisingly they have a UK focused website:

Dear all,
I am looking for a particular part from the Vespa XE and seems that the local mechanics do not have them at WB. Can someone please guide me for a source and pricing?
Looking for the headlight plastic assembly at the moment so that it slots in perfectly with the two rectangular cutouts and the speedometer.

In the worst case, the earlier NV/NV Spl assembly will fit, but would have to make the rectangular cutouts. Did you look in Wellington, Kolkata?

I could not check at Wellington Kolkata, for the sole reason that I am based out of Pune and my yearly visits just lasts for a couple of days at Kharagpur. :(
