Few old pictures I found , on a round trip covering Kanyakumari and Kerala and back to Bangalore.
Other pictures include a Goa trip before the bike was re-built.

Finally I got my "Dessy" after a grueling 8 months delay. A special mention of RE`s ASM Harshavardhan who had to intervene and got my DS delivered within 3 days of raising the issue. I really appreciate the support offered by him. As matter of fact unlike most of delivery process, mine was total smooth and came out of showroom within half hour with bright glow
in my face

Finally my TB350 is out of the showroom, precisely 2.5 months from the day U booked it, including over 10 days it took for registration to get completed. First experience was pretty much like ruling the road when seated on this machine. Ownership review will have to wait but posting a pic taken last evening

Does anybody know a good place in Chennai where I can get alloy wheels installed for my Thunderbird 500?

Tired of lugging this 200 kg beast every time it gets punctured!!

i am Happy to say that I am the custodian of three bulls. My first is STD 1978 bullet stock with large handle bars. I have owned this bike for the last 20 years and is used daily. My second is a 1997 STD 500 bullet stock with single seats, heighten shocks and broader handle bars. I have owned this bike for 3 three years now, enjoy highway riding on this one. It is only me, the bike and the wild. My third is a 2001 lighting 535 cc with disc in the front and heighten shocks. This is the bike I do long drive with. I have rode this to Goa, Kerala Pondicherry, and number of trips with in Karnataka.

The first pic is before the mods were done.

Would that be a late 60's,the one on the right?Could you post a few more pics of it?especially the engine.

It looks stunning.I especially love the rear mudguards that used to come back then.If you revert back to the D stays it would complete it.

I was at my mechanics a few days back,a guy was restoring his enfield and was about to ditch those rear mudguards because it had a few holes in it.I intervened quickly and told him to get it patched and painted and it would be as good as new
