Hearty Congratulations whitemm550 !
Initially i was disappointed to learn that Matte green was not making to India but thanks to RE they brought in this to please our crowd. Wonderful Matte finish of the color.IMHO This model has plenty of choices to be modded with like dual tone saddle bags and tool kits, tan color seat ,and jute rope covers for crashguards ...etc.

Hope you have great rides !

A couple of pics below. The guy fitting the leg guard.....that's the attitude of the entire staff.
Went to the Market Yard Dhone service centre. They tried to brush it off by saying use the brakes and it will set. Told the manager, am used to disc brakes and that he needs to make the effective. Lever play increased, brakes working fine.

Regarding the pad touching, I rode to office and will ride back. Lets see how it shapes up.

Yes, keeping it below 60 is tough....and can rarely use the fifth gear.

Welcome onboard Vish. You look every bit a Bulleteer in those pictures

Btw, another BHPian from Hyderabad bought a black chrome recently. His handle is "Xydon". Chrome in black looks classy

See you around the forum

Re: All T-BHP Royal Enfield Owners- Your Bike Pics here Please

Congratulations Exhaust_Note, I too recieved my bike RE350 classic from Dhone Kasarwadi on 23rd May2013. It was a very long wait of 10 months and had to make numerous rounds at the showroom. Kaka (elderly man in your photo) is a very sweet person but he prolonged my RE delivery may be by a month. Joe did help me get my bike last week.

Re: All T-BHP Royal Enfield Owners- Your Bike Pics here Please

Hello to all, attached here are first pics. of my RE during the time of delivery. Will upload more once I am free from riding it. There have been few hickups last evening when my bike refused to start using Self starter. Will take it to the workstation tomorrow. Secondly during the time of delivery I had pointed out that the front mudguard had a distorted shape. The showroom guy asked me to have it cleared during 1st service. Gearbox main bolt shown in the photo - the larger one was loose which I felt it was strange if PDI was done. Later it was tightened.

Rest of the bike is running good and hope to have it serviced in couple of day's. It has clocked over 325kms. in last 3 days. So enjoying it for now..

Hi, you have a very nice ride. The Bullet looks awesome. Can you share some feedback on the tyres. How does it behave on curves, top speed handling, braking etc.

Thank you.

The front is a Dunlop JAP 350 button tire which has no complains.
The Pirelli is a good all rounder with good grip , handling and slight locking up on hard breaking because of the size. It wore out very fast since it is soft compound. It has run probably 10k or less and is almost fully worn.

I would not suggest this for the fast wearing reason.

tharian, your '96 500cc looks awesome and just spot-on! The seat is particularly nice, will have to look into this as replacement for my stock seat. Also the luggage rack on tank is a neat touch. Can you please share more pics with other angles of your bike? Thank you!
