Spike: This place is in coimbatore. You can't get them on the phone as it is a very busy place. PM/email me the parts you need, and I will get the price for you also verify with them if it is available in OEM packing.

Dear All,

Please check the pic of Mr BRO"S RX recently renovated in Nashik Maharashtra.
IT took nearly 3 to 4 months for restoration.
Initially there were some Hic-ups like matching the company cherry red shade, getting the original cylinder kit and spares etc etc; but eventually all the hurdles well overcome and below is the result.

Regards,
RanjitThe Yamaha 'RX' Thread (with pics)-rx.jpg

Ranjit, the bike looks superb. Where did he get the work done in Nasik (which mechanic) and where did he source the parts from ? More details please.

Spike

@Ranjith:- Your bike looks brand new with TC sticker on the number plate. Can you tell me from which showroom is this taken out from? :)Just kidding.. wonderful restoration. Will keep this in mind while I do my RX100 restoration shortly. If you could share a brief details on your restoration might be handy not only for me but for similar 2T enthusists wants to restore their lengends.

Hey Spike the Mechie did not get the spares for that matter he did not even get a lock nut.... all were collected / ordered / scouted by my BRO in due course of time.

The Mechies name is Satish he is odd 52 years old works near Prasad mangal Karyalaya nashik not really a renowned one in the renovation circles in nashik

but has worked on my jawa few of yezdis and now renovating my friends 71 jawa.

We have faith in his after the outcome of my jawa so went forward with the RX.

He is simply superb when it comes to rebuilding the engine.. Bugger is very adamant on the original spares..

Regards,
Ranjit

Hey Sriram Thanks Buddy... The TEMP REGISTRATION stickers are just teasers
as the outcome has come out so beautiful that friends suggested us to put the stickers.. and believe me have been stopped by enthusiast on road inquiring about the bike and wondering if it is relaunched... as nobody believes that its renovated people think its just come out of the Yamaha Showroom lol:

Ok, I think I have seen this guy's place while I was in Nasik. Did not know much about him then. Can you find out from your brother from where did he source all these parts? Just for my information only.

Also get the Alfa Toyo mirrors, that will complete the looks.:thumbs up

^ Looks amazing even after a decade. I should say it is well maintained in stock condition.

Can anyone provide me the YASS parts list for yamaha RX 135.
I am planning on a redo of my 14yr old RX135.
Its been 3 years since the last rebuild so its time to get it back to shine.
I plan to redo the same but concentrate on things i did not get done the last time.
Specially the engine, tires and stuff.
As if now I am making the to-buy list and thought the parts list will be of a great help to know what all actually goes inside this bike.

Whats all your take on

Amaron no maintenance battery for Yamaha (read something about 14V problem)
MRF tires zappers FS (front) and Moto D (back)
