The bike has been sent over to the garage to be opened up. The work will begin tomorrow. Will post pics of the progress soon.

Any Updates?? please post the pics v12..

This is the only update / pic I have as of now. Nothing has happened over the entire week since we did not have time to work on it. The rear-set's are still an issue and only once this is sorted out will we open up the bike.

The Rear tail light looks bit odd and the seat does look weird. is that you are keeping it for the pillion i would say go for a single seat with the cowl or do it double seet with more of a funtional front and the rear to be bit more slim.

POST ON BEHALF OF GORDON!

Update: Actually no update or progress whatsoever.

Of course, if it doesn't work out you can always get aftermarket ones off the shelf of any superbike.

I'm stilll trying to make my own rearsets, but I just dont get enough time for it. Unfortunately due to serious lack of time, I MAY resort to using rearsets off another bike. We'd still have to make mounting brackets for them though.

Like I mentioned earlier, this current seat was made only to be practical for a pillion. The brake light is still not finalized completely. The brake light may mostly stay for this seat.

A single seat cowl is OBVIOUS. And will be made after the bike is ready. It will be straight in line with the tank and not wider at the rear like the current seat.

Patience my dear friends :)

Went to the workshop and it was a sight to see. The bike has been finally opened up! Will post the pics later, since I haven't taken any yet.

Anyone know how much the R15 rearsets cost?!

Silencer: Still wondering whether to pick a new stock silencer or get a chamber. The chamber will be great for the rearsets, since there will be enough space. Prices anyone?!

The bike has finally been opened up and the rear sets have also been sorted out. Now we just need to finalise the paint job on all the parts on Tuesday. Will post more updates on Tuesday.

V12, I would seriously recommend that you get the ready made foot peg set rather than fabricate them. I have seen fabricated ones crack easily. Hope yours hang on. Strengthen them though.

The footpeg is not being fabricated. Nor are the levers. Only the linkages and brackets are being made.

This thread has been quite dormant for a while. Too long for a closely following enthusiast. Do post the proceedings.

Perhaps your 'Tuesday' hasn't arrived yet !!! :)

The painting process is taking too much time, because the painter is ultra busy. Also the paint scheme is still under question. However, the frame has been covered with red oxide (if thats what it is) and the tank is covered with filler and ready to paint.

Time for some more updates ;
speedometer and lock set purchased
rear cowl ready to be mounted on the seat
chasis and engine painted black. the worst part was that the previous owner had used a brush and oil paint on the engine and forks and hubs.
the tank and panels have been given one coat of paint.

that's it for now. more updats and pics later.

Here's my contribution.
RX100, 1988 model.
All stock except piston size changed to 4th size.
