Its been ages since we have been discussing abt these bikes. Yamaha even showcased the 250 at the auto expo in 2006. There are strong rumours that Honda might just bring in the 250, but lets wait and watch : auto expo 2008

I think 250 is also fine as long as its parallel twin or v-twin. Its really annoying seeing Karizma and Pulsar's on single cylinders.

A v-twin sure makes the difference. Of course,it would be a risky thing to introduce more powerful bikes in India, given that the average person rides a 100cc bike.More power,if not handled well, would lead to more problems i.e, accidents.

They're coming with the R1 anyway so why leave the 250 without a 2-cyl engine! I think it shud be all or nothing !

I have reliable info that even TVS is planning to launch a 235 CC bike soon and mechanics have been started getting trained for this.

If mechanics have started getting trained, then the launch is imminent. How come there is hardly any buzz? Or is it just me being clueless. Would it be possible to find out more info about this bike?
