There was this guy in mysore who I know used to do it properly. Unfortunately he's not around anymore. You can try asking Ron Chinoy of Bangalore if he can do a Yezdi. In his early days he did fool around a little bit with a Yezdi so he might be quite familiar with it.

Dude, swell job. I had a buddy- long relocated to Darwin- that used to tune Jawas/Yezdis while I tinkered with my Brit iron (ex-WD Triumph 350). Do I remember haggling with dealers for 'genuine' Yezdi silencers? Telling the difference from the grade of chrome and the sound? Tuning the bikes with 'grope-in-the-dark' jetting; shaving heads for that little more oomph? Good memories. I've more than some clue of what it takes for you to accomplish what you have. Congrats. Here's to many Happy Miles on her.

I cut my teeth on my dad's Jawa (Yezdi was not yet there!) before I was legally permitted to drive. Loved that torque and earsplitting exhaust note, which could be heard miles away, long after the bike has disappeared into the horizon. Guess tjhye don't make such bikes any longer.
