Kawasaki has launched the MY2025 Ninja 500 priced at Rs 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom).



The 2025 edition of the Ninja 500 looks similar to the outgoing model and is mechanically identical as well. The fully faired bike has dual LED headlights and an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity.

The Ninja 500 is based on a steel trellis frame suspended by a telescopic fork in the front and an adjustable mono-shock in the rear. Braking is handled by a single 310 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear.

Powering the Ninja 500 is the same 451cc, parallel-twin engine as before. This unit makes 44.77 BHP and 42.6 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

In India, the Ninja 500 is available in a single Metallic Carbon Gray colour scheme.

Kawasaki always launches new versions of their bikes every year. However the only changes are mandatory color/decal versions and possibly a price hike. Every 4-5 years there might be a major update but most of the time it's just a sticker job and nothing else. The good news is that whenever a new year model is launching there are usually discounts on the last year model despite there being zero mechanical changes.
