Benelli Leoncino 250 spied testing in India Benelli could be planning to bring back the Leoncino 250. The updated version of the quarter-litre bike was recently spotted testing, leading to speculations that it might be reintroduced in the Indian market.
The overall design of the new Leoncino 250 seems unchanged. It offers an upright riding position thanks to a raised handlebar and rear-set foot pegs. That being said, the bike appears to have a redesigned headlamp, a different seat and a single cylindrical exhaust.
The new Leoncino 250 is fitted with a USD fork in the front and has a mono-shock at the rear. It rides on alloy wheels and has disc brakes at both ends.
The upcoming Leoncino 250 is expected to be powered by the same 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as before, albeit with minor updates to comply with the latest OBD2B emission norms. The engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
