2025 Suzuki Avenis & Burgman Street launched in India

Suzuki has launched the 2025 edition of the Avenis and Burgman scooters in India. Both models are now OBD2B compliant.

The Avenis is now available in a new Special Edition featuring a two-tone colour scheme of Metallic Matte Black No. 2 and Matte Titanium Silver. It is priced at Rs 94,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The standard version is offered in four colours: Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Mira Red, Champion Yellow No 2 / Glossy Sparkle Black, Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White and Glossy Sparkle Black. It is priced at Rs 93,200.

The Suzuki Avenis is powered by a 124.3cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.6 BHP @ 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm @ 5,500 rpm.

The Suzuki Burgman Street is priced at Rs 95,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is available in two variants: Standard Edition and Ride Connect, and is offered with 7 colour options: Metallic Matte Black No. 2, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matte Titanium Silver, Pearl Matte Shadow Green, Pearl Moon Stone Gray, Metallic Matte Stellar Blue and Metallic Matte Black No. 2.

The Burgman Street is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 8.6 BHP @ 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm @ 5,500 rpm.

Prices for the Burgman Street EX start at Rs 1,16,200. It is available in three colours: Metallic Matte Stellar Blue, Metallic Matte Black No. 2 and Metallic Royal Bronze.

The Burgman Street EX uses the same engine but features Suzuki’s Eco Performance Alpha engine tech, which comes with a Silent Starter System and Engine Auto Start-Stop. It produces 8.5 BHP @ 6,500 rpm and 10 Nm @ 5,500 rpm.

So 20K more for Burgman EX, which apart from the Suzuki Eco alpha bla-bla tech, only for the bigger rear wheel? Ridiculous!

The black/matte titanium silver looks really cool on the Avenis. The Rs 800 bump up will be well received.

Such minimal differentiation, no wonder the sales teams also push Access themselves. I bought mine a couple of years back and the sales person mentioned that Access and Burgman have the same engine and performance, hence I can pick the Access as it's much cheaper.
