Ola is not even in the same realm as BYD. Ola is not even a fraction of the company Yadea is. Yadea by the way is the largest manufacturer of EV 2 wheelers in the world from, you guessed it right, China.

Re: Ola Electric showrooms raided in India over trade certificate violations

Ola electric in deep trouble again as discrepancy in sales data noticed.

The Ministry of Heavy Industries has sought clarification from Ola Electric regarding the mismatch between the company’s reported sales and actual vehicle registration. The Maharashtra RTO authorities conducted inspections at several Ola showrooms.
The company claimed to have sold 25,000 vehicles in the previous month, however, as per the Vahan Portal only 8,600 vehicles were registered.

Re: Ola Electric showrooms raided in India over trade certificate violations

If one can boldly pin point a single person for this catastrophe, its none other than the CEO.
Some talk cloud high but deliver too; while there is this other type who are all talk and no stuff. We know what category B belongs to. He is a major contributor, if not sole contributor, for this disaster. There were enough warnings right from the start for a keen leader to attend to and fix it, but alas, that is not the case here.
This affects not just Ola, but in a way, the emerging 2W EV market. I only hope the dent is temporary.
