Keeway K300 SF launched at Rs 1.69 lakh

Hungarian bike maker Keeway has launched the K300 SF in India. It is imported via the CKD route and is priced at Rs 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The introductory price will be applicable for the first 100 units.

The Keeway K300 SF is a naked street bike featuring a sporty LED headlamp, a muscular fuel tank with fairings on either side of the radiator, and a stepped seat. The bike has a narrow tail section and an underslung exhaust.

The K300 SF is powered by a 292.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 27.1 BHP @ 8,750 rpm and 25 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via an assist and slipper clutch.

The suspension setup of the K300 SF includes an upside-down front fork and a mono-shock at the rear. Braking is handled by discs at both ends supported by dual-channel ABS.

Wow that's excellent pricing for the specs on offer. I'm not too familiar with the brand or their products, but on paper, this seems like a better deal than the CB300F or the Pulsar N250. Lots of unknowns though.

Hero's Xtreme 250cc has 30 ps power for just 10k more with peace of mind from known brand.

Chinese brands have no future in India due to rise of 250cc+ domestic competition. I am sure they will all pack their bags within next 5 yrs.
