Check out this Classic Yamaha RD350 YPVS restomod by BMC!

Bolt Motor Company (BMC) has built a comprehensive restomod of the iconic Yamaha RD 350 YPVS from the 1980s. BMC first reassembled the two-stroke motorcycle, before adding custom bits and upgrades all around the motorcycle.

Starting with the mechanicals, BMC removed the original forks and replaced the entire front end with that of a Yamaha R6. The company also upgraded the brakes and suspension setup on the RD350 YPVS restomod to match the updated engine. Talking about the engine, BMC installed the motorcycles with a 500cc big-bore kit with fresh crankshafts, pistons and cylinders; paired with a high-grade exhaust system.

In terms of cosmetic upgrades, the motorcycle features a modern LED headlight setup with a 3D-printed bezel, Rizoma clip-on handlebars with Domino grips, Nissin control levers, bar-end indicators and waterproof suede upholstery for the rider's seat. The motorcycle also features a semi-digital instrument cluster with an analogue tachometer.

The BMC Yamaha RD350 YPVS restomod comes finished in a white and red paint scheme, inspired by Wayne Rainey's YZR500 race bike.

Oof, what a brute. My uncle has two - one and the same red with Toohey pipes and the other a bone stock Kenny Robert’s limited edition. Given what absolute beasts they are, I can’t even imagine what a monster this one must be.

Edit: My mistake. I thought it was an rZ350
