Hero has a dual channel ABS 160cc bike, TVS has one, Bajaj has one. There's no reason for Honda to skimp on this.

The 2025 update seems to be on TFT screen and USB type C port.

Both needless additions.

Typical Honda.

This is such a good looking bike but performs miserably in sales. My friend is considering a Unicorn but I am strongly suggesting him to go for this. It looks really good in person. If Honda offered dual channel ABS it would have been a solid differentiating factor from the Unicorn. Only they know why they skimped on this.

Why skimp on safety? I'd advise you and your friend to look at the Pulsar N160, which is objectively better. Bajaj bikes have been consistently reliable for some time now, especially this one which is one of their best-sellers.

He is not keen on anything except for a Honda.

Hmm I feel he still has memories from years ago when almost all indian manufacturers produced tin-can motorcycles.

I tell you what, get him to test ride the Bajajs, TVS, Heros and then decide. They are just as reliable and well-built, if not more reliable ironically considering there is a thread here about an owner and his struggles with OBD2 Unicorn and its niggles.

Having ridden the N160 I can safely vouch for what a good commuter it is, whilst feeling peppy.
