Differences over Speed 400 are,

- half fairing
- single piece seat with a cowl
- clip on handlebars

Rushlane
___

Not sure if it'll be called the Thruxton, that name has been retired. Moreover, that model had traditional retro styling like, twin rear shocks, spoke wheels and analogue dials.
The fairing on this mule is reminiscent of the Speed 1200RR.

Looks very pulsar 220 ish.

I thought they had reverted to the original can on the T4 as well as T400 after feedback on the black one in new iteration. This seems to be sporting same black one, but could be due to early prototype model.

Only MY25 Speed 400 get the brushed aluminum exhaust, the T4 is still on blacked out ones.

If I recall correctly, spy shots of the Scrambler 400x last year also used to sport fully blacked out exhausts, so I presume this is a feature of the test bikes.

Considering the backlash at the blacked out exhausts on Speed 400, and how this is going to be a more premium version of the same, we can expect brushed Stainless Steel exhausts.

Re: Thruxton 400 / Speed 400RR spotted ahead of launch

Semi faired bikes don't sell well in our market. The Pulsar F250, Pulsar AS200 and the recently discontinued Xtreme 200 are flops.

The Speed 400's lack of road presence is one of the major reasons why people don't consider it.

The Thruxton 400, which probably will have a better road presence, might be a good choice for people who rejected the Speed 400.
