KTM 250 Duke offered with a Rs 20,000 discount till December 31

This month, the KTM 250 Duke is available at a special price of Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike maker is offering a discount of Rs 20,000 on the ex-showroom price. The offer is valid till December 31, 2024.

The KTM 250 Duke received an update earlier this year. The bike now features an all-new LED headlamp with pilot lights, and a 5-inch TFT display similar to that of the 390 Duke, offering Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

The KTM 250 Duke is powered by a 248cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 30.5 BHP and 25 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The latest iteration of the bike also gets a bi-directional quickshifter and two riding modes: Street and Track.

If I am not mistaken the discount is for the old stock with the black and white display. To me the extra 20k is totally worth it.

I don't think so. I saw an advertisement from my nearest KTM dealer regarding the discount and the image used was of the latest version with updated TFT display and DRLs.

KTM is feeling the heat due to the Speed 400 and Speed T4. But the Duke 250 at this discounted price is an absolute steal

They announced this on sunday evening. My close friend bought one on friday morning. I felt sad for him. Adding salt to the injury was the sub par experience from S&S KTM Gachibowli. There was some screeching sound from the front wheel, chain was dry and not lubed and the rear disc pads had some issue. Even TR was delayed apparently.

An update on my booking:

My experience with KTM dealership in Tambaram, Chennai has been very good till now.
When I made the booking, they had a bike on ready stock.

But, I asked the sales advisor to provide me a vehicle from the next load that they will be receiving from the factory and he was perfectly fine with it.
He was also ok with me doing a PDI and selecting a bike from the fresh stock and then proceeding for further payments.

Yesterday, he informed me about the arrival of a fresh lot and asked me to select a bike from it.

Eagerly waiting to get my hands on this machine in the next few days
