Re: Ethanol-powered Bajaj Pulsar NS160 showcased at Tech Expo In isolation, I tremendously appreciate the Freedom 125 and this E100 P160NS too, despite concerns around engine life and performance/mileage mix of ethanol.
Recently, a lot of innovative products are being launched by Bajaj, but let's be honest, they're going very slow on the premium products.
But by now we should be sitting on a single cylinder high-revver 650 costing around 4L from Bajaj itself.
I'm an old time biker. If you would've asked me in 2011, which domestic company is expected to bring out a mid-capacity twin cylinder first, I'd say Bajaj has the highest and probably Royal Enfield/ Hero Motocorp the lowest.
Turns out, Royal Enfield did it first with Continental GT and Interceptor 650 twins & Bajaj is not even there yet (an imported Ninja 650, expensive, that too from another brand simply doesn't count).
Ask any 35 yr.+ biker, they'd echo almost the same.
I know market matters, but is it this bad a market for a 650 single-cyl. in a good price? |
