FNG/Mechanics for Motorcycles in Patna

Hello everyone, recently I have been facing front brake issues in my 2020 KTM Duke 390, the front brake lever has a spongy feel to it. Going by the book I visited the KTM ASC and they bled the front brake, but the bite was still not there. Then they replaced the Master Cylinder but the bite from the front brake is still not there. Having visited the ASC multiple times I have kind of given up on them.

So I request my fellow BHPians from Patna to recommend me some FNG/Mechanics that they have a good experience with and are well versed in these type of issues and deal in these type of motorcycles. Thank you.

While I can not help with a mechanic’s address, I can provide you with a hack. Tie up your front brake lever (along with the handle-bar) with a cloth / rope as tightly as you can and leave it overnight. The sponginess should be gone the next morning.

If the suggestion by Sheel doesn't work then ask the ASC to check :
- the brake lines for leakage
- the caliper/disk for glazing
- reservoir cap/gasket for any leakage
- replace the brake fluid if you haven't recently

Ride it for 3-4 days post any changes to evaluate the effects.
Try another ASC if it exists.
