TVS has shared a teaser image of the upcoming Jupiter 110 on social media. The updated scooter is expected to be launched on August 22.



The teaser image shows a part of the front apron, that appears to have been redesigned. It features an LED DRL strip with integrated turn indicators on either side.

The 2024 TVS Jupiter is expected to get a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, an LED headlamp and a taillight and could also come with a USB charger.

Technical details of the new TVS Jupiter 110 are still unclear. However, it could use the same 109.7cc, single-cylinder engine as before. This engine develops 8 BHP and 9 Nm and is paired with a continuously variable transmission.

Oh great! Finally TVS woke up and realised that they needed to bring in a refreshed Jupiter after a decade (launched in 2013), while Honda is going crazy every couple of years with a new "G" - 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and 6G.

A good move and major redesign it looks like. While understated, the looks of Activa and Jupiter have stayed the same always, now boring and dated.

Looks like they are also teasing a big underseat storage by the show of two helmets in 'soon'

Was in the market for a scooter, guess I'll wait for a bit now

This is exciting. I was going to get an Activa early next week (because the interior colour scheme of Jupiter - the beige colour just didn't look good), I guess I'll revisit that decision. Hopefully the 125cc version also gets the much needed upgrade.

Prices start at 73,700 (ex sh Delhi) (+₹50 as compared to the outgoing version).

4 variants: Drum, Drum Alloy, SmartXonnect Drum, SmartXonnect Disc. So, to get disc brakes, you need to get the topmost variant.

Looks simple and neat. I am planning to replace my 22 years old Activa and it looks like a good option (except I don't need a top trim, but prefer disc break ). May wait some more time to see if Honda launches Stylo 160 and decide.

Looks sleek. TVS has bought the fuel filling option to the front as in the 125cc version, which adds more convenience.

I see that there is no kick starter provided from the pictures. I hope there is actually one in the actual version, as it would be necessary when the battery runs out of charge.

I hope they have improved the smart connection app as well, the current one is buggy and drains the mobile battery a lot.

TVS Hybrid technology iGO Assist

iGO Assist is a mild-hybrid assist technology. It's a feature that provides an extra boost of power and torque to the engine during certain riding conditions, such as:

1. Acceleration from a standstill
2. Overtaking
3. Climbing steep inclines

iGO Assist uses a advanced algorithm to detect when the rider needs extra power, and then provides a temporary boost of:

- Up to 0.8 Nm of additional torque
- Up to 0.15 kW of additional power

This assist is provided through an electric motor that's integrated with the engine, and it works seamlessly in the background to enhance the riding experience.

It seems there might be two versions of the new Jupiter, with a regular analog-digi speedometer and a completely digital version.

The navigation provided is turn-by-turn indicators, not integrated with Google Maps. Supposedly there is also a "find my vehicle" feature available via connected app.

I am sold. We have been planning to replace our Jupiter Grande bought in 2018. This seems to be a worthy upgrade.

One question though. How can TVS call it 110cc if the engine capacity exceeds 110cc (113.5cc to be precise)? I have almost never seen such a thing. Shouldn't they call it Jupiter 115?

So far we have seen scooters in 110cc/125cc/etc. segment only. Is TVS planning to create a new 115cc segment with the new Jupiter?

Lower models will get analog speedometer while SmartXonnect variants will get fully digital speedometer..

Looks great, hope they carry this sprucing up over to the 125 as well. That will have the go with the show. Also hope they release a disc brake version without the connectivity to keep it under 1L in Karnataka- taxes go up by 6% if the ex-showroom price is over a lakh.

(although that piano black insert underneath the LED strip gives it a slight Hitler moustache look. Maybe it's just me. Best not to call it the Jewpiter.)
