Re: Bajaj Auto hints at a more upmarket Dominar 400

Updated 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 spotted with new console.

Quote:
Bajaj is set to introduce an updated Dominar 400 featuring the same LCD-Dot matrix instrument cluster it debuted on the Pulsar NS400Z. This technological enhancement will feature smartphone connectivity as well, which in turn will unlock features like turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts. This upgrade has led to the deletion of that small instrument console that was mounted on the fuel tank.

The 373.3 cc engine is expected to remain the same. However, Bajaj will update the mill to comply with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. That might alter the 39.42 bhp/35 Nm output a bit, but by how much will be confirmed once the bike launches. Bajaj is likely to introduce ride-by-wire throttle too with the 2025 Dominar 400 to bring forth different ride modes, just like it did with the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z.

This is their idea of an 'upmarket' Dominar 400?? :(
The only change appears to be that new LCD display.

I hope this is just an interim solution and the 'upmarket' Dominar is a year or two away.

Re: Bajaj Auto hints at a more upmarket Dominar 400

Bajaj, please work on lowering the weight. Or atleast play around with the centre of gravity to make the bike feel lighter. At this point I feel a complete redesign is only going to help the dominar. I love the way it looks but there's only so much they can do. Maybe retain the looks and change to a trellis frame. With their exposure to Triumph, I'm sure build quality is only going to increase.
