Now that the 180 has been retired, the least Bajaj can do is give the 150 a 120-section rear tyre.

From the back, 125 and 150 look identical.

Bajaj proves that some dinosaurs just don’t go extinct. Especially the 150. I don’t know what’s more weird, the fact that the bike’s design is 20 years old or the fact that people actually still buy it!

It’s like taking “why fix what ain’t broke” to the next level. Makes me want to hate Bajaj yet applaud them at the same time.

It’s not going to have any major impact on the handling, so why fix what’s not broken?

To be fair, the 150 isn’t even the most dated looking design as far as commuter/entry-level sport motorcycles go.

As it turns out, you can make a bike look reasonably modern by simply blackening out much of it!

The 150 doesn’t even look half as bad as all the wacky and tacky commuter bikes like the assortment of bling-covered Radeon, Passion, etc. which have aged terribly in the last few years. Moderate simplicity with futuristic elements is the key here.

1) Better aesthetics
2) Helps differentiate the 125 and the 150 on the road, and in the showroom.

Right now the only difference between them is a small sticker.
