Moto Morini X-Cape 650 prices slashed by Rs 1.30 lakh

The X-Cape 650 was launched in India alongside the Seiemmezzo Retro Street and Scrambler in October 2022. The ADV is available in two variants: Standard and X, with the latter being a more off-road-oriented version. With a price cut of Rs 1 lakh, the X variant now costs Rs 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The X-Cape 650 features a semi-faired design with twin headlamps and a tall windscreen up front. The bike has split seats and a small luggage rack integrated into the grab rails. It is powered by a 649cc twin-cylinder that puts out 60 BHP and 54 Nm and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The bike features an upside-down fork suspension at the front and a mono-shock at the back. Braking is handled by dual 298 mm discs at the front and a 255 mm disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS.

Wonder sales price may be in double digits which would have triggered this drop in price??

Am yet to find Moto morini bikes in Bangalore. Anyone who owns, how is the service experience and maintenance costs?

Makes for a stylish and more powerful alternative to the NX500. But service remains an unknown on two fronts- current quality and future stability. Are these guys going to be around in 10 years time? Who will buy my bike after I'm done with it?

I'd still choose the NX500 over X-cape for its long-term support assurance. My previous experience riding this bike wasn't impressive; it also generated excessive heat compared to others in its class. The main selling point is its affordability, but that alone isn't sufficient for a lasting investment.
