It's raining the whites in India now. Took delivery of a white NX500 in Kolkata yesterday.

Got a confirmation call from dealer, bike invoiced will be taking delivery in couple of days. Red colour NX 500 lands in Navi Mumbai !!!

It's indeed raining NXs. Got my delivery along with another rider on 27th of October.

First ride impression-
- Engine is butter smooth.
- Clutch is feather lite.
- Slight buzz at the handlebars on lower rpms, improves when the revs go higher.

Accessories
- Main stand
- Knuckle guards
- 12V socket (yet to arrive)

PS: Does anyone know of the run-in period? What speeds and what rpm's to keep it under?

Many congratulations man. The NX looks the best in white.

The manual just says for the first 500km, no sudden acceleration and no full throttle acceleration. Avoid hard braking and rapid downshifts.

That's all. No limit on the rpm at all in the manual.

Some upgrades to the NX!

So, went out this morning to get some kilometers on the bike and also understand it better.
Rode for a while, clocked about 400km today.

The ride seems bouncy, bouncier than my CB300R. I think I need to make it stiffer a notch or two. Also, I would probably need a taller windscreen, there was a lot of buffeting due to the current height, and had a bad headache after a couple of hours.

I will post more details as I ride around on this.

Yes the buffeting right above the helmet is quite bad. Clean air on the helmet is fine but the buffeting is bothering. Prospec has the extender , that’s should solve the problem. Will report in a couple of days.

It was 7.14 lakhs including 5 years warranty and RSA. If you take insurance outside , you will save 10 to 12k I went with their insurance package ( oriental)

On top this, I had added 12V OEM charger from them, rest of accessories where from outside (Motovanguard and Carbon Racing ) and. got them fitted at the dealership to avoid any warranty issues.
