I totally agree with you. Honda should have added the new upgrades to the CB 500x design. The headlight part of NX 500 doesn't look very attractive.

Dealers have no Update!! Looks like it is pushed to December - Jan time frame..! Globally supply has stopped.

I got the crash guard and the bash plate installed this past Saturday. The finishing in not great, but they're build solid for sure. You get more than what you pay for. They sent me the radiator grill and number plate holder complementary for the delay in delivery of my order :P. It has helped me move the number plate from the visor to under the headlight. Did you receive any manual from carbon racing? I had ordered the same to install on the cb500X, but without the manual, finding it very difficult to understand where to fit the spacers and which bolts to use where. Could you share if you have one? Or share some closeup pics of the spacer installations?

No, nothing to guide you on the installation. The guy who installed them struggled for 5 hours. So, when I wanted a few more CR accessories installed, I rode down to Tumkur and still got it done in less time. I'll share a detailed update on that soon.

I don't remember who, but someone on the inside recently told me it'll be available in October. And it might be E20 complaint. I wonder how E20 fuel is affecting the current batch of bikes.

I contacted the Gurgaon Bigwing couple of days ago, they are saying that the company has asked them to re-commence booking. Deliveries being promised in Dec-Jan. This withdrawal from the market, is it due to E20?

Just spoke with a regional service head at Honda. Not sure how true it is, but he said they only received clearance to import a small number of NX500s in the first batch. However, they plan to make around 500 bikes available during Diwali season and another 500 early next year. He said Honda still has around 1000 bookings for the bike at present.

I asked him if it is E20 compliant and he told me it is. He said the bike is being sold in South America and Europe in the same specs and they've tested it to run on E20 fuel without any issues.

Are you sure the bash plate is scraping and not the center stand? My 'original stand' scraped the edges, exiting a pothole. A few NX500 owners have also posted on WhatsApp groups

Yes, it was the bash plate. I didn't have the center stand installed then. I do now, and now it doesn't scrape anymore. Absolutely weird, but I'm not complaining.

Looks like Honda isn't too keen to push bigger bikes in India. Being a CBU, this is heavily dependent on Govt Policies, so is my inference correct that the product may vanish from the showrooms abruptly like MT07/09, CB500X etc? H450 looks like a safer bet.
