Hopefully they end up like Nexa and not like BigWing. Like Maruti, Heros's biggest advantage is it's reach. While I understand the need to improve the sales experience for more expensive bikes, if they disallow the smaller showrooms from servicing the big bikes then they're shooting themselves in the foot.

The first Hero Premia showroom in Bangalore has opened yesterday. This is on Hosur Road next to the upcoming Singasandra Metro station. Dealership of RT Krishna Autos. I had my Harley X440 booking with RT Krishna and had been there to enquire about cancellation.

Apart from the Harley X440, the Karizma, Xpulse and Vida were on display and I believe will be sold under the Premia brand. Showroom looks niche and well organized. While the SA folks were polite and welcoming, they did not bother to ask why I was cancelling and actually check the status. The bike allotted to me should actually be with them for delivery. I get a sense that the Hero premium models is what they will focus on- Especially the Karizma and Xpulse. The X440 I think will be there for people who want it.

To sell the Mavrick Hero will expand the Premia network from 3 to 100 by June 2024.
