2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 launched at Rs 1.74 lakh

Royal Enfield has launched the 2023 Bullet 350 at a price of Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new Bullet 350 is based on the J-platform. The same architecture underpins the Hunter 350, Classic 350 and Meteor 350.

In terms of design, the new model looks almost similar to the outgoing version. It gets a single-piece seat and other minor changes. The bike also gets a semi-digital instrument console but misses out on the Tripper Navigation feature.

The Bullet 350 is powered by a 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that develops 20.2 BHP @ 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. It is mated with a 5-speed gearbox.

The bike is equipped with a telescopic front fork and dual rear shock absorbers. The brake setup consists of discs at both ends. The base model, however, gets a drum brake at the rear and single-channel ABS.

Just booked the Standard Maroon. I think it's the best color in my opinion.

Delivery is supposed to be On Sep 4. Will know for sure once the dealer calls me.

Other than the seat, paint(and may be tires), is there any other change compared to Classic 350? I don't see any mechanical changes and Bullet looks very similar to Classic. The price difference is only 10-15K.

Re: 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 launched at Rs 1.74 lakh

The effect of competition is so clearly visible in RE now.

They have taken out their Ace in this card game. The legendary bullet std and its characters, only to attract back the swayed followers.

The old wine in a new bottle. But then, certain wines are always special.

Desperate time, desperate measures.

Re: 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 launched at Rs 1.74 lakh

The Bullet will still continue to sell in strong numbers partly due to the nostalgia factor but its strongly contended by its own stablemate-Hunter 350 being somewhat lesser in the Price as well and youngsters preferring the retro-modern looks.

All the above is solely my opinion and you may or may not agree!✌️

Mechanically its same, but there are differences in sprocket size, tyre sizes etc which makes the difference in how power is delivered in both models. The seating posture is also entirely different.

Congrats!! Too good a time to be a bike enthusiast. With recent launches of T400, HD440 and new Karizma, we are spoilt for choice.
Apart from budget, any particular reason not going for other recent launches?

That's amazing and unheard of. You are lucky if you really get it by 4th. Additionally the maroon looks fantastic. If you do visit the showroom in the near future please share what the difference is between the one you booked vs the top end Black Gold trim. That commands a 25-30k premium over this as per the RE website pushing it into Stealth Black Classic 350 territory.

Looking forward to a detailed review from you as Sep 4 is just 3 days away.

Does this come with a self start ? RE should also do something about the discontinued standard 500.

That was the date shown while I booked it. It may not be so soon. Will let you know once the dealer contacts me.

Both the Standard and Black Gold versions have dual channel ABS. The Military version has single channel ABS.

I had a bullet when I was on college. My dad and uncles had bullets when I was a boy. I'm buying it for the nostalgia and the mature image that bullets have.

Re: 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 launched at Rs 1.74 lakh

This Bullet is like a more affordable variant of Classic 350. Now, most prospective buyers would switch over to the Bullet from Classic.

On the other hand, they should have retained the UCE heavy crank, kick start version. There are still many takers for it.

Wasn't there also supposed to be the launch of the Bullet 500 and Bullet Sixty-5? Wonder what happened to those two. (Mods please remove if this is off-topic)

Don't know about the 500 and sixty-5, but this brings an end to another legendary model, the Electra 350/Bullet ES. Now, even standard Bullet 350 is sans the kick start.

Handlebar is taller than the Classic 350, and the seat has 5mm more cushion.
