The Hornet 2.0 features an LED headlamp and a digital instrument console that displays information like a speedometer, odometer, tachometer, battery voltmeter, twin trip meters, gear position indicator, service due indicator and a clock. The rider can customize the brightness of the display for better visibility during the day or at night. The bike also gets an engine-stop switch, hazard lights and a side stand indicator.

The Hornet 2.0 is powered by a 184.4cc single-cylinder engine that makes 17 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 15.9 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox via a new assist and slipper clutch.

The Hornet is based on a diamond-type frame suspended by an upside-down front fork finished in gold and a mono-shock at the rear. Braking is handled by 276 mm front and 220 mm rear petal-type discs.

The Hornet 2.0 is available in four colours: Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.

How difficult is it for them to give a dual channel ABS here? Will complete the bike and make it compete with RTR 200 and Ronin while covering N/NS160 as well.

Slipper clutch is a useful addition. I hope they've adjusted the rear shockers to be more forgiving.

Never owned a Honda and Yamaha wanted me to book the Aerox without even having a display piece. Might check this one out soon.

Just to put into perspective this makes similar amount of power and torque as the Bajaj Pulsar 180 dtsi (v1) and Karizma's of that generation.

Pulsar 180 dtsi(v1 - with spoke wheels) was quite something. Was quick and fast and could hit a top speed of more than 125 km/hr with ease. Something which the current crop of 180 or even higher cc machines from a category above struggle to do. Those were the good old days of in-expensive thrills.

The later generations of Pulsar 180 were for some reason watered down.

Good bike, good design but I didn't like this headlamp designs. Looks weird to me. Instead of this, if they can provide nice round lamp with some design elements, this bike will look whole lot good.

I like the look of this bike, but it needs a bit more power, or at east dual channel ABS.
I see hardly any on the road, and from the sales report on our forum, Honda sold 0 units in the past few months.
