Re: Royal Enfield launches riding jacket made from recycled plastic

It is Great that it doesn't have any Brand labels on it. Some of their designs are really good, but have a "Royal Enfield" label all over it.
So, I had to go for a "Yamaha" jacket for my R15, and there are very few options to choose from, and yet has some labelling around it

Some time back, RE was importing and selling jackets and gloves from a manufacturer based in Sialkot, Pakistan.

Worth checking whether these are indigenous products or otherwise.

Re: Royal Enfield launches riding jacket made from recycled plastic

My biggest concern about such reuse and plastic product it its impact on health. Studies have shown Polyester is harmful to men. In such an environment, how safe would it be to use recycled plastic, which is a known endocrine-disruptor. Iknow the intention might be noble and get good marketign credit... andit may even be safe in terms of its protetiveness.

But such produccts are a big red flag for their potential health impact by just wearing them.

Does this worry others too?
