Besides minor changes like new painted panels and decals, the Hero Glamour BS6.2 retains the old design. The bike gets a stylish headlamp cowl, fuel tank extensions, a single-piece seat and a digital instrument console.

Re: Hero Glamour old design being relaunched in BS6.2 avatar

What's up with Hero these days?On one end they are launching the HDx440 and on the other end they are launching their old models back to back.
How can they expect two customers from such a different market shopping in the same showroom?
I think they should do what Honda did by launching BigWing and Maruti by launching Nexa that is to open separate dealerships for xpulse,x440 and other 1.5lakh+ex showroom bikes.
Other wise they are shooting themselves in their own leg

This is what they should have done with the Glamour years ago back in 2017, instead of trying a pleathora of design permutations and combinations. The Glamour lost it's buyers to SP125 because Hero was not adamant enough to retain a time tested design that their executive crowd actually preferred.

They were trying to find a new identity I guess. Distant themselves from Honda designs to claim they are no longer reliant on Honda designs/models. It backfired, so they are back to the original design.

They should launch Karizma old model. Rather than its later year mutations, the first few models are truly timeless.

True. Only basic updates like dual channel ABS, better lights and the old Karizma design is still looking good.

The current Glamour has the weird shaped LED and overall does not look good. Honda could make the SP125 successful even while having the regular shine which was already popular. Hero could not do that with the Glamour, Super Splendor etc.
