Honda has taken the wraps off the 2024 CB300R for the global markets. It is likely to be launched in India later this year.

The CB300R is a street bike featuring a circular LED headlamp with raised handlebars and a stepped seat offering an upright riding position. Honda hasn't made any changes to the design of the bike for the 2024 model year. The bike is now available in two new colour options: Matte Black Metallic and Pearl Dusk Yellow.

2024 Honda CB300R is powered by the same 286cc, single-cylinder engine as before. This unit produces 30.70 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 27.5 Nm @ 7,500 rpm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.

The CB300R is equipped with an upside-down front fork and a mono-shock at the rear. The brake setup consists of petal-type discs at both ends, assisted by dual-channel ABS. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with Dunlop 110/70R-17 section front and 150/60R-17 section rear tyres.

Zero changes with price increase expected I believe. One can get 390x adv for the same price now.

Re: India-bound 2024 Honda CB300R unveiled globally

Honda 2 wheelers is just as lethargic as the Honda 4 wheelers wing when it comes to Indian market. Whatever happened to the Honda Rebels, 300 and 500?! The rumoured 300 Adventure bike (Rumour: Honda working on a 350cc ADV bike for India) or even the Honda Forza 350!

Launched at the right time, at the right price these were sure winners. But just as always they have missed the boat big time. And this unveil is just another lazy job from them.

I so wish Honda realizes the potential India has and serves it the way it deserves to be.

I'm eagerly waiting for Honda to launch Rebel 500 in India. I'm still keeping my Bajaj Avenger 220 street from 2016 waiting for rebel from 3 years.

Ah, I have been on that boat. Have been hearing about the Rebel twins for many winters now. Had waited for quite a few of them. While, Honda had these proven bikes in international markets fully tested and yet they sat on them. In the meantime, Bajaj-Triumph built a new bike from ground-up, just for our conditions.

And with a Honda Cruiser already present in the same segment (in the form of CB350s - which were our market specific), I am not quite sure if they will ever plan a new cruiser in the form of Rebel again (any time soon, at the least). I'm extremely sorry to be bursting your bubble by being this pessimistic about it. Like I keep dreaming about a Tiger-Like Adventure bike OR the BMW G310 GS facelift/New Gen, I hope your dream comes true someday.
