Re: Honda CB300F wheels bent | Replacement rims unavailable | Bike in service center since 40 days

I don't think this is a warranty issue. This is more of an insurance issue. I have seen the same incident on my friends NS200. He finally ended up purchasing the alloys. Warranty didn't work, and insurance had it's own pain of process. It is better you replace and move on.

Can't take it out of service as the Insurance claim will get rejected.
Hope your issue is resolved by now. I had faced the same issue as you and finally received my replacement rims on October 13th 2023. In case your issue is not sorted yet, I would strongly recommend you to send a mail to the following ID. yogesh.mathur@honda2wheelersindia.com.
Sending an email to the Director of Customer Service made a huge difference to how my issue was handled by Honda. After the mail I had a Honda Area Manager who kept calling me regularly and updating the status. Hope this helps you.

Re: Honda CB300F wheels bent | Replacement rims unavailable | Bike in service center since 40 days

Posting here to update on my Hornet 2.0. After Nikhil Fakatkar of Team Driven worked on the bike, it ran a good long while without issues. I've recently run into the crankcase O-ring going capoot again but I guess you have to live with certain things. I've also been advised by my cousin (he's an automobile engineer) to change my oil from the current 10W-40 to a 10W-50 or 15W-50 after my bike crosses 35k (currently at 23k kms).

Let's see how far my little horse can take me despite him having been dealt bad cards by his makers. I love the bike to death and don't want to part with him anytime soon. Hoping for the best and fingers crossed.

Cheers, everyone.
