Re: Yamaha RX100 - Full Owner's Manual in PDF I have one hard copy of the owner's manual with me, but a soft copy is also an asset for both its owners and admirers. I am uploading the RX-100 workshop manual (compressed pdf) which will also be an asset for us. RX_100_workshop_manual_compressed.pdf
The workshop manual
The original bill from 1990 (Rs 24,149 with a few accessories)
The one time tax in Maharashtra then (Rs 1,550=00)
The TP insurance receipt from 1991-92 (Rs 40=00 p.a.)
After viewing Rushab's thread this morning, I garaged my four wheeler in the afternoon. It was a sunny and hot day here.
My RX-100 that was resting since about a month was cleaned and it needed just five kicks to fire its engine back to life. That's how forgiving the iconic RX-100 is !
The engine sound with some initial groan seemed to complain to me saying "why was I kept garaged for 30 days ?"
My answer was " its summer and you cannot cocoon me with an A.C. and pamper me like that four wheeler which I garaged for your sake right now."
I took it out for work and it did its duties flawlessly like it has been doing since the past 33 years. I saw an Indianoil outlet enroute that was retailing XP95, the 95 octane petrol and topped up the RX-100's tank. That's for the long life of the engine and for avoiding the Road Transport, Highways and Petroleum, Natural Gas Minister's cocktail of 91 octane petrol with the ethanol blend. RX-100 fans need to watch out and preferably use XP95 for the bike.
