Re: Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 spied in near-production guise; Launch expected in 2024

The chassis seems to be the same as on the Interceptor, so don't think there would be any improvement in comfortable seats. I was hoping they'd ditch the straight seat base and opt for a little curved base as on the Triumphs or maybe the Classic/Bullet that gives added room.

re: Royal Enfield 650cc Scrambler spied. Edit: To be called Interceptor Bear 650

Does anybody have any updates on the Sherpa 650's development timeline, in terms of it's possible release? There's not much going around about this bike unlike the other upcoming releases and I'm curious why this is the case. This seems to be a pretty great entry that would address most(if not all) of the issues in the interceptor, so the lack of excitement feels odd.

I am hoping that the executives at RE would click with the idea that providing USD to the OG 650 twin is also necessary along with a clock in the MID. The current front forks are just abysmal.

The driver of the bike has every right to demand that they not to take pics or vids IF that act is hindering him from doing his job properly, right? Can he/RE take legal action against the car occupants?

I second your thoughts, the rider was being stalked and harassed. This is ridiculous, such videos should be banned, instead of being promoted.

There's no real news as of yet, though you could expect a launch by late 2024/early 2025 for the Scram 650.

Leaked images of the Scrambler 650.

The meter console looks like the TFT screen that debuted with the Himalayan 450. Maybe there'll be two variants on sale, one with the analogue dash and the other with this TFT like the Guerilla

I Like the 2 to 1 exhaust system and USD forks, Hopefully they can fit INT or GT 650 as well, Seat looks similar to INT 650 so not sure it would be that comfortable. I Wish it gets the Alloy Spoked wheels too that way it would be a more well rounded product.

Tubeless spoke wheels or alloy wheels are a better fit for this model. Mudguard accessory would be coming up for this model as well I feel (like guerilla 450).
My vote still goes for the upcoming classic 650. That would be a thing of beauty.

Latest photos of the Bear 650. I’m quite disappointed with this wacky paint scheme and 2x1 exhaust system.

Good looking bike but the colour scheme is super weird. Not sure about the target audience here. But like the Guerrilla 450, there might be more 'normal' looking colours to go with the whacky ones. RE has been nailing the colour schemes of classic looking bikes but somehow losing the plot when it comes to neo-retro stuff like the Hunter, Guerilla and now this.

Think they're trying to be edgy in lieu of them not deviating from the round/retro elements on all bikes.
