New dealer for BMW Motorrad, Thane - Soniya Motors

It seems Navnit Motors has lost the Thane Motorrad dealership and Soniya motors has bagged it. New facility to be opened on 12th August.

Whoa. This is big news. Also a bit strange, given that Navnit had just moved to a new facility in Kalina (well kind of an extension of its existing car dealership next door but still).

@Maverick: any insight into what could be the reason for this?

Its only the Thane dealership that they have shut, so Soniya will be an additional dealer.

Ah. That’s an important clarification. So Mumbai owners will now have a choice of two dealers effectively - Navnit in Kalina and Soniya at Thane. Some competition in this space is only good for customers I guess.
