The owner's group is abuzz. Honda is launching something new on August 8th.
Owner's opinions are split between Forza 350 or the CRF300s as it's supposed the be something Formidable.

Hoping the Vstorm SX's success has prodded Honda into smaller CRF models.

Edit: Got this forward at what looks like some Indian Bigwing dealership

Not gonna lie, was kinda hoping they would launch the Rally version as that would be more versatile with almost double the fuel range and a windscreen for the ADV boys. No hopes for the pricing :coldsweat

A Uni and a Dio can be seen in the background, it is certainly not a Big Wing dealership. PowerDrift is guessing it is going to be Forza.

Never know. May be they kept it in a regular dealership to keep away from prying eyes? Anyways I really pray honda launch the CRF instead.

Didn't they already try their luck with the Forza 300 sometime ago ? It was a mega flop at 7L something. I don't know if the market is ready for a big maxi yet, yes the aeroxx was a success initially but I wonder how are the sales now that the hype has died out. On the other hand the light weight off-road/adventure category has exploded and honda would be wise to bring the CRF. Fingers crossed that honda don't bludgeon my dream bike with a big rock!

With the advent of V Storm 250 and the customers inclination towards it, it appears they will launch Rally 250 as guessed by Nosugar Nospice. The launch of impulse rally edition, further solidifies the aforesaid case. Anyways lets hope the Rally 250 or 350 or whatever they deem fit may be launched.

In foreign markets, the CRF300L is perceived to be about as formidable as a house cat. But anything goes for India, I guess.

Hoping against hope it's the CRF too and not the damn scooter.

A Formidable price tag is guaranteed irrespective of whichever vehicle lands here.

They displayed one piece at BigWing, Gurugram. According to HMSI, few people were interested, so they imported all of four units and all of those were sold.

If 'premium scooters' can be considered a segment then yes Forza will compete with Aerox. I would have personally loved to see ADV 300 or even the ADV 150 here.

Someone said it could be the Forza 150. With Honda one never knows.

I think it would be something for on road rather than off road.

If they intended to launch CRF models they would show dirt/mud on the ad, rather than tarmac.

Remember the times when we expected the updated CBR300R to launch and Honda just released the old CBR with LED's and a new sticker job?. Pepperidge farm remembers. Of all the theories out there about the CRF and the Forza, the one in the above link seems the most realistic to me. A CB350 with a minor changes. An attempt to keep things fresh now that the RE Hunter is expected to launch soon.

You seem to be the bearer of grim news grimlock :uncontrol

I know people who have the option of buying both the CRF rally and the 390 Adv, and they bought the 390 adventure new.

Here's my thinking:

If i had to buy a motorcycle to travel around the world, i would get the Honda. Same applies if i live in the high mountains.

If i lived in the metropolitan, and i had to do travel distances and back for a day job, i would get the 390 adventure.

Despite of my grim post there Redliner, there is a part of me that genuinely hopes that Honda launches this and more importantly prices this reasonably. It’s just that Honda’s launches of late tend to bring out the pessimist in me. *Glares at CB200x*.

I agree with you about the ADV390 being the best choice for touring right now, even if Honda bring the Rally going by the pricing in the UK (5.6 ish GBP?) it would just be overpriced here when compared with the 390’s on paper, but the CRF300L I have some hope for. I believe that there is a niche that it can fill among the softly setup adv’s that we have right now, but this CRF could very well be the bike that we have been expecting the Xpulse 300 to fill for a while now. 27 bhp, weighing 138 kilos, that can hold 100kph all day with a rumored 8,000 mile oil change interval sounds like a dream given that there is atleast a gap in between the prices of this and the adv390

I would agree on that. The background of the poster is a cropped 'F' and if the new launch was a CRF, they'd not focus on the F so much.
If they can create a long hype with ads depicting royalty and luxe for the H'ness, they would not make a CRF launch so low-key. It much likely points towards a Forza model.. but again, being Honda, you never know!

I Visited the Bigwing Topline in chennai by Tuesday to check out the CB650R. While i asked the manager about the 2022 CB500x launch he said no timeline for the CB500x but there is a launch upcoming in the commuter segment. I didnt know about this teaser by then so i didnt ask about the product with him. So i think Powerdrift is right, must be the Forza 350.

Or could be another bike based on CB350 :coldsweat
