Just now travelled from home to office. Distance covered 13.2km in 25 mins. Medium traffic & the ride was neither aggressive nor very relaxed. The instantaneous FE on the instrument cluster after the ride was showing 38.2 kmpl. Just thought of sharing here.

The gearing is spot on. All gears are evenly spread out. It's a street fighter to the core, very agile & flickable. |
Cool!

But I am not able to make out whether any mounting points for center stand are available. May be experts here can comment. I hope in the next couple of months some official accessories should be out, if not then at least some aftermarket. |
Am no expert by any stretch of imagination; was just curious. Yes, Honda guys should be able to help.
Do keep recording your experiences around rides undertaken/happy moments/service experiences/issues faced etc here. Wishing you countless miles of happiness with the bike again.
Is the bike material/fully compliant to E20 petrol, since its exported to South America, possibly Brazil? Can owners please check the manual and update?
More deals on the CB300F -

Thank you for sharing. May I know whether you have the online price in Bangalore with and without registration?
These are in addition to the 50k discount or in-place of the discount offer?
Thank you
Girish

How would the experts on this forum compare this with a Highness CB350 for city and touring use? Obviously two very different motorcycles but with the price cut, they are very closely priced. I can think of the following points
- Riding Position : Slightly lean forward, but similar to the CB350RS so it should be more comfortable for longer distances, the Highness with its upright stance really suffers after a few hours
- Pickup : The highness has a very high gearing so the initial pickup suffers before the power comes on. The 300F should be much faster accelerating with its short ratio gearbox
- Cruising ability : The Highness runs out at around 110 and anything beyond requires favourable conditions. This can probably do an extra 15 mph and can maintain slightly higher speeds. The oil cooled engine should make it easier to maintain a. higher speed. I don't know about the refinement as the Highness sets a really high bar
- Ride and Handling : The CB350 is really well sorted, with a good balance of handling and comfortable suspension. From what I've heard, the 300F is also very well sorted
Fuel Economy and Range : The highness is really a champ here with a large tank and a range that can almost take you from Bangalore to Kanyakumari. The 300F is not as good, but with a 14L tank and typical Honda efficiency, a 500km range should be possible.
Considering all this, I have started to wonder if I can exchange my CB350 for a CB300F, to address the one point that really bothers me about the Highness, the cruising at higher speeds. Any owners here who can comment?
This is a good point. Even I was struggling to cross 110 on the CB350 and picked up the VSTROM 250. Its a breeze now
So I'm curious too. Why dont you take a long test ride on the F, take it to hebbal and beyond, and then give us an opinion?

The huge price cut has made this motorcycle highly desirable and has put me into comparison mode between this and Hunter 350.
Does this price cut indicate that the model may go out of production once the units on offer are sold-off? As this may create spare parts availability in the future.

The parts are still available on order for a model called Dazzler if u happen to know one in Honda's steed. So the parts wont be available immediately after 3 years in every SVC but you should get them on order.
Honda Bigwing Bengaluru is now selling the CB300F at an ex-showroom price of 1.61L/-

Should have done this in the first place. Hope they don't do a cb500x with this looking at the price cut.
Makes one wonder how competitively they could have priced the made in India cb300r.

So, the Road Tax and Insurance will also come down, benefitting the Consumer. Do they have a separate website of topline or this screen grab is from other social media? And have they started rolling down MY 2023 models?
2023 manufacturing means, the model is not going to be discontinued. But still Accessories are not available neither in the showroom nor in the market.
Sorry, but where is the year 2023 mentioned anywhere? Maybe I missed it

Honda Big Wing Worli, Mumbai informed me that they have only 2022 models and there is no confirmation yet on 2023 models by company.
Just a quick update from my side. Last Sunday I did the first servicing of my CB300F. It costed around Rs 1800/- mainly for the oil & oil filter change, chain lubrication etc. Labor was free. Took 3 hours for servicing. One complaint of dipper headlight beam throw going above the road level could not be addressed as the service advisor mentioned there is no adjustment provision for headlight beam, which was a bit difficult to digest.
On a positive note I got a refund of Rs 13K on the 2.27 lacs onroad price that I had paid while purchasing the bike. When I tallied all the invoices, I could find out that the total was coming far less than the amount that I had paid. Many thanks to my Sales Advisor from PCMC Central Honda BigWing to accept the discrepancy and make the refund of the difference within one month of bike purchase. Kudos to the transparency shown by Honda.
