No, it won't be as the suspension won't be as good as a motorcycle, and the wheels although larger than a standard one won't match the larger wheels of a motorcycle which can handle bad roads better. The ergonomics ain't as good as a motorcycle either.

However for short distances, a scooter would do fine.

Yamaha Aerox has the worst standard suspension of the lot - it’s a back breaker. Most owners change the suspension to better aftermarket ones. Even then it’s a compromise in terms of ride quality. If you want a sporty scooter then this is the one.

Please do a search for the Aerox thread on our forum and you will find a wealth of information on this. Do not dream of a purchase without a proper test ride to see if it’s suitable for you.

Cheers

This idea has a lot of merit but the Aerox is not the best representation. It is a sporty scooter with really stiff springs that have softened a tiny bit in the recent update but it is still stiff.

Look into the recently unveiled Hero Xoom 125. It runs 14 inchers like the Aerox but all first ride reviews have pointed out the ride quality to be rather good. Autocar says it might be to Hero what the Ntorq was to TVS. Yes, the usual Hero niggles might be present but all recent Hero products have had excellent engineering put into them.
