Glad to see you had a blast! 32 kmpl is pretty good considering the type of terrain. Which Saddlebags from Viaterra do you have? I was also considering going the rucksack route but will probably invest in a top box now.

I have Viaterra Leh which is 100% waterproof.
Problem with rucksack is that the luggage keeps shifting to one side unless it is packed to the brim, also getting on and off needs to be planned.
